Event Description:    Hunt Infor Liberty Hall Plantation in Culpeper Co. Virginia is holding its annual one-day combination natural & “seeded”

Relic Hunt
We will have thousands of dollars’ worth of relics seeded (or by token) on the property, plus the opportunity to find natural relics. This one-day hunt is a great opportunity to hone your metal detecting skills, have fun, and maybe score a valuable prize. Even though the ground is highly mineralized, seeded relics and tokens will not be deep so most metal detectors will be fine. On the 2023 hunt lots of natural bullets, coins, and buttons left from the civil war were found. The prize tokens will be scattered in two fields only for a chance at some higher quality genuine civil war relics, civil war reference books, and more. Additional dropped bullets will also be planted around the property. Prizes will be won using a double-blind method. All prizes will be given away.

The plantation was occupied by both CSA and US forces during the war. There are 2 cannon emplacements on the property (prob from 1863), as well as a large US camp presence (from the winter of 1864).

All the gold recovered will be split equally! No one has ever been skunked on a Motherload trip. How much gold will you find? Who can say? The gold is found in pockets and streaks - but the gold is there. And there's always the possibility of making that BIG STRIKE!
Space is limited to a maximum of 24 participants per week, so don’t wait too long to sign up!
Now that you will be there, why not invite others to be a part of the Digger’s Expedition too!
