Event Description:    Participants will work on the Commercial Operation GOLD Dig and receive a full share of the GOLD recovered that day! All the GOLD recovered is divided up as evenly as possible based on size of any nuggets and/or flakes found and number of participants. The GOLD share pick is conducted in order of payment received so first to pay gets to reach in and draw their share of the GOLD out of the pan first! This gives them the first and best chance of picking the overall best share but does not guarantee it as this is a "blind" pick out of the share pan and relies purely on chance.

The N-SSA promotes the safe and competitive shooting of Civil War firearms and artillery while wearing Civil War uniforms. There are currently over 3,500 members composing over 200 units (teams). An N-SSA unit must represent an actual unit that existed during the Civil War, so you'll see units from all over the Union and Confederacy, competing in a friendly and family oriented atmosphere.
